In the town of Ijebu-Ode, There lived a man who recently got a job as a gateman to the House of one of the city town’s men; Chief Babatunde Babalola was just a young rich man in his middle 30s, He had just been coronated a chief due to his father’s influence in the land. Chief Babatunde Babalola was also privileged to take charge of his father’s businesses, thereby making him one of the richest young men in Ijebu-Ode Town. One striking reality is the fact that despite the riches and influence Chief Babatunde Babalola had, he was humble and kind to everyone; he was loved within the community. Here Comes Komolafe ; Mr. Shola Komolafe, also a young man in his early 30s, had just moved into the town with his family, in search of a new life. Hello Everyone! Welcome again to our Blog! We are excited to introduce our new short story series to engage you while at home. This short story series is titled " The City Gateman". The story is about the life and conversations of a City Gateman. He shares some of these life lessons with his son because like every other parent, he had a dream to see his child achieve great things in life, much better than he did. The story will also share the right attributes that every young teenager and youth should have as well as how parents can effectively teach and train their children kids to become successful in life. This series will come in ten (10) different episodes and it promises to be educative, enlightening, fun and engaging for all age categories (young and old).
